Life is a wonderful journey but not without moments of trouble, stress, loss and difficult transitions. A variety of feelings - sadness, anger, regret, among others - can leave us feeling stuck and unmotivated.
However, the beauty of our journey is that during such times, we can actually discover, or better yet "uncover" what we would like to have more of in our lives - perhaps an increased sense of success and belonging at school or work or more positive relationships with family and loved ones. We are born whole and perfect in our imperfections, as I like to think.
Hi, I am Jennifer Pinto, a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s Degree from University of Toronto and a life-long dedication to learning and developing my therapeutic skills to best support you. My approach is a blend of evidence based approaches and traditional spiritual teachings - I work collaboratively with you to help uncover your inherent strengths, heal what is hurting and move towards a life with greater joy, resilience and purpose.

While you or a loved one may be experiencing a range of difficulties, you are not broken or in need of fixing - you are hurting and in need of care and compassion.
Our bodies and minds, have an innate ability to heal - practices exist to jump-start, unblock and restore this ability and find balance.
Rather than simply focusing on eliminating difficult symptoms, we work together to explore, identify and heal core issues that lie beneath the difficulties we are experiencing.
With increased clarity about patterns of thinking, behavior and emotions that might be keeping you stuck or unhappy, there are evidence-based approaches to help unburden and heal.
With increased clarity and balance, you can learn and practice new skills for relating to yourself, your emotions, relationships and life’s circumstances with Kindness and Acceptance.
